As a circular economy-based company, it was settled that this project should reflect its principle by recycling some materials and appliances from their previous office space.
This redevelopment project demolished all the preexisting partitions and settled an open space for work, designated soundproof areas for meetings, and informal areas for familiarity. The colors from the company logo were used as graphic elements on walls and divisions between workspaces.

Broken in the horizon by several diagonals, the surrounding landscape was the reference for the design of a residence with a three-pitched roof. Enriched by a mountain landform, the volume is then defined by plans with different types of opacities.
A diagonal axis breaks the regular form of this house, determining its entrance and leading the inhabitant to a large window that frames one of the hillsides. This path starts on the highest height of the house and leads to an area with the lowest height of its trapezoidal form. This axis proposes the living area be divided into the living room and the cooking area.

Implanted on a downhill with the slope as the background, the house was designed facing the main street with a circular and diagonal geometry.
The residence program was adapted for a family of four, distributed on two levels.
Taking advantage of the solar exposure, on the entrance level, there are the living areas with a direct extension to the exterior. Upstairs there are the resting areas flowing into a more private outside space, enriched by an exterior level encrusted on the slope.

Until its recent reconstruction, the building was in a state of disrepair. For its redevelopment, a new structure for its interior was implemented, and the main façade was preserved.
With a distribution of two apartments per floor, each residence unit prioritizes the living spaces. The contiguity of the living room and the kitchenette establishes the majority area of the apartment, arranged so that it can be extended to the exterior.

This residence is designed through the intersection of three volumes. The top one, executed as a gable roof, defines two triangle windows framing the forest surroundings. The exterior finish is settled on a pigment-projected mortar.
The entrance area serves as the connection to the upper floor through a circular staircase and the circulation for resting areas and the kitchen. All the ground windows are orientated to the area in between volumes.
The top floor includes the living area, divided into a sitting area and dining, both connected with the framing windows.

Taking references on Lina Bo Bardi (Teatro Oficina, São Paulo, Brazil) and Prada Poole (Heliotrón, Seville, Spain), the idea is to execute a structure based on the scaffolding system with a textile cover using the blue colour to mark its relation with the existing market and the temporary fair surroundings.
Six modules are executed taking the tree as the centre, evolving it with a structure that not only supports the cover but defines new market stands connecting them to its interior venue. The cover is cut according to the section of the tree. Executed in textile, it allows the visitor to see the top of the trees, benefiting the interior with natural light.

Located in a building from the beginning of the 20th century, the project kept its typical architectural characteristics, such as walls built in exposed brick masonry, a wooden floor, and a standard cast iron ceiling.
The store concept introduced contemporary displays suitable to the object of sale, along with areas for private clients and temporary showrooms. The light design was executed to enrich the product presentation and its exhibit appliances.

“Entre Linhas” exhibition is the result of a participatory process involving the community of Rua de Marvila.
The design of the exhibition maintained one of the housing units. It also demolished the interior compartment and the floor of the other unit space. In this latest process, an old pavement was discovered. It was part of a former building, prior to the Palace.
Taking advantage of this situations, this unexpected feature of the Palace was uncovered to the visitor. Through different platforms in wooden plywood, the circulation was made between the level of the palace's floor and the level of the previous building pavement.

The curatorship intended that the exhibition displays should reproduce the echo of graphic and product activism, in the responses to the adversities of the Ibero-American socioeconomic context identified throughout the exhibition contents.
Based on this intention, the project proposed the oblique line as the motto for the exhibition design. This idea was applied to the ramps as a support for the collage of the intervention posters, on the podiums on which the objects are placed and in the lighting design that identifies, in the oblique line, the transition between exhibition platforms.

its original structure in tabique (a typical structure for buildings built after Lisbon's 1755 earthquake).
The project aimed to ensure its requalification for a temporary housing programme, served by a reception and office area and the maintenance of the existing grocery store.
With two apartments per floor, the project kept the building's original features, adapting it to a contemporary housing programme by reducing the interior partitions. Apartments were converted into one-bedroom houses, in order to facilitate larger living areas.

2013 -15 . Castro Daire . PT .FAMILY HOUSE
The volume of the house intends to reproduce the surrounding topographic context. The landscape, broken in the horizon by several diagonals, was the motto for the design of a three pitched roof descending to the south and west facades. In these plans, the windows of the interior divisions were placed oriented to specific areas of the mountain.
The rectangular plan of the house is interrupted by a diagonal that determines the entrance of the house and the framing of a large window with the hillside, focusing on the village of Pereira. This axis suggests the living area to be divided into the living room and the kitchen. The space next to this window is the prominent area in the building, reaching the lowest height of the house at its trapezoidal plan.
